Brief description

Dr. Christian Röhlk has been working in the field of intellectual property for more than ten years and joined ZSP in 2019. Christian started his career in a Munich IP law firm and continued to work for this firm as an associate.

Christian is admitted before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office. He has successfully handled numerous patent applications, oppositions, appeal, and opinion matters on behalf of national and international clients.

Christian spend his high school junior year in Nacogdoches, Texas. After obtaining his general university admittance and doing his military service in the German army, he started studying biology with a focus on cell biology at CAU, Kiel. His diploma thesis in the lab of Prof. Thomas Bosch is titled “Epithelial defense mechanisms of hydra”. For his PhD thesis titled “Characterization of conventional kinesin” Christian moved to Munich and joined the Schliwa lab at LMU. During his work, Christian moved with the entire group to the Technical University Munich.
